I asked Shirley a few days ago why she hasn't posted and she told me it was my turn.

We have been both very busy with work, kids, reunions, ect., I have been trying to beat the rain

and get hay put up. It seems like everytime I get a field ready we end up racing to get it done

before the rain ruins it.

Speaking of hay, it is going to be very high this year, we are probably going to pay aroun 200$ a ton which is triple what it was about 5 or 6 years ago. I know the world is trying to go green but it is putting many ranchers and farmers in a tight spot. One of the main reasons hay, milk, meat, and alot more things is so high is from all the corn demands to make ethanol which supposedly puts off les polution. Ethanol is still very high priced and our government (well most of it) is pushing for more ethanol producing plants. We are starting to see a lack of hay sales where we go and is going to get worse. Right now it takes us around 1000$ dollars to fill one of our trucks with fuel which of course is driving up the cost of hay also.

Enough of that boring Phyl grumbling.

Shirley is doing well, I think she is on week 24 or 25 of her pregnancy and every thing is doing well with the baby. Hannah and Ethan are doing good also, Ethan turned five last month. They are both taking swimming lessons here in Bicknell, they go to a daycare three days a week and to Shirley's mom's the other two days. It sure has been nice having Janet and her husband Jimmy here in Loa they are a great help and teach my kids alot.

Here is a few pictures and if I can figure out how to put a caption with them I will.
